WHAT IS THIS!?!
WELCOME TO THE MOST RADICAL HOMOSEXUAL COMIC STRIP IN THE UNIVERSE!!!
If a comic strip from an unapologetic homosexual perspective is not your cup of tea, then this is very much not the place for you, please go look at pictures of kittens instead. Or Unicorns. If you wish, even Unicorns breeding with kittens.
You see, this really may not be for you.
This site is a Sanctuary for a semi-irregular cartoon strip named " NOMEANSYES:" The Radical Faerie Church.
Yes, it's all very, very Gay because we are the "Secret Gay Elite" that both Pagan and Christian fundamentalists get their panties twisted in knots about.
NOMEANSYES is a comic strip satire about homophobia and the bullies who practice it consciously or not. Megalomaniacal "Gate-keepers" and "Temple-Keepers," Pagan fundamentalists, the mire of gender/identity politics, magical addictions, sparkly delusions, and follies of substance abuses,
Gossip-mongering sociopaths pretending to be community leaders, Cultural parasites, Cross-dressing kittenicorns, and social assimilations in the most curious places.
There may even be love and kisses here, and much humour of varied hues, shits and giggles aplenty, and characters you may actually wish to share tea with. Just avoid the magical mushroom tea, it could give you the shits for days.
ALL COMIC STRIPS 'RADICAL FAERIE CHURCH NOMEANSYES' AND OTHER ORIGINAL FICTIONAL WORKS POSTED ON THIS BUSINESS WEB PAGE "RADICAL FAERIE CHURCH NOMEANSYES" ARE COPYRIGHTED BY THEIR AUTHORS AND MAY NOT BE REPRODUCED, STORED IN A RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, TRANSLATED, OR TRANSMITTED IN ANY FORM OR BY ANY MEANS NOW OR HEREAFTER KNOWN, ELECTRONIC OR MECHANICAL, WITHOUT PERMISSION IN WRITING FROM THE AUTHORS AND ARTISTS OF ALL ORIGINAL ARTWORK AND WRITING POSTED HERE.
All characters, places, and events appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. This Radical Faerie Comic Church is a fictional phantasm of dirty eunuch clowns, perverted fruit-bat capitalists, gender cyborgs, old gods, power-tripping ghouls, pagan fundamentalists, and whatever creature or thing I feel fit to draw. It's only about you if you so wish it.

Radical Faerie Church NOMEANSYES Interviews Vaughn
Radical Faerie Church NOMEANSYES On this lovely spring equinox of 2019, We sat down with the creator of these comix in his sun filled Portland studio to discuss the where, what, and when of our Radical Faerie Church comix:
RFCN : We have not seen any new comics here for awhile, what's been up with that?
V: I've been working on other projects, primarily a series of limited edition hand-colored prints to sell online and in galleries. This has been a dream project which I've wanted to do for over a decade. The first set which I'm finishing up with features endangered and threatened wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. I drew an environmental comic strip called "Cascadia" which was published in the Earth First! Journal, Portland Alliance, PDXS, and other publications during the 1990's. The bulk of these strips are posted in the Vault section of this websight. I wanted to take my environmental advocacy to another level, featuring threatened animals. "Out 0of sight and Out of mind" is a death sentence for many species facing extinction under the environmental degradations of our times. I want to create definitive visual representations of these animals into accessible artwork, to at least show people what is out there which can be lost to the generations. I've always been passionate about animals, where I grew up in Seattle was just a few blocks away from the Woodland Park Zoo. In the mornings I'd hear lions roaring for their food, and at times escaped peacocks or monkeys would flee into the neighborhoods. So, this dream project of mine has been taking all of my creative focus.
RFCN : So when will we see new comics here?
V : Also during the past year I've been plotting the Next NOMEANSYES series " The War of the Fruit Bats." Currently I'm finishing the pencils for the first page. This new series will pick up where "NOMEANSYES Members Meeting Badly" left off. It will be a different kind of story than NMMB was. For NMMB I wrote and drew each page often not knowing what the next panel would be. It was highly experimental, a mash-up of many styles, often clashing. For years my published work would go through the editorial process, which I appreciated. For NMMB I wanted to create something "pure," free of the editorial process and more spontaneous. I sure had fun with it, but for WOTFB I'm planning on using more conventional storytelling.
RFCN : Do tell!
V : Most of the characters introduced in NMMB will return, along with a gaggle of new characters and entities. There will be a super-hero thing happening with a team called the "X-Them, along with a Wolf Creek "Survivor" storyline. Part of it will also take place on Earth's "second moon" Criuthe, and even Kuiper Belt object Ultima Thule. Cosmology is another passion of mine, so I'm excited to include it into this coming series. Of course, there will be fruit bats aplenty, because I love to draw fruit bats.
RFCN : Damn. That certainly sounds like it's going to be all over the place again!
V : Walla, Mugghoul, and Big White Honky will return to continue excluding and judging those whom they take issue with, using their stranglehold of the Radical Faerie Church "process" to practice their white privilege power plays. Just like today's American Republican party, so I'll be playing fast and hard with that angle. There will be a declared war against "Squids.," which will become an armed conflict, as Walla, Mugghoul, and Big White Honky rally the troops to fight their Sanctuary battles. Mugghoul wants to reclaim his book of the dead, which still bleeds like a stigmata. Walla wants more ancestors to "speak" for, and Big White Honky just wants to manifest panic and further divisions .
RFCN : What about the published NOMEANSYES books which have been promised here for years?
V : Yeah, I've still not been able to finish that promise yet. Two years back I issued a limited NOMEANSYES edition, which quickly sold out. I'm still leaning towards self-publishing and distributing the NOMEANSYES book(s) myself, as self publishing has gotten super easy, I just need a wad of cash to do it. "War of the Fruit-Bats" I'm hoping will be accessible and commercial enough to peddle to comics publishing houses, and not so much of a niche project which it has been to date. I certainly got an overall positive reaction to the limited edition which I self-published, so maybe I'm just over thinking it all. So, 2019 promises to be a good year for us. There still are several hundred people per week who check in with this websight, even tho I've not posted any new comics here for a good while. I again want to thank the many people who have "got" this and continue to check in.

02/02/2020
Happy Palindrome day! We hope to get back into the swing of posting new strips more frequently here again for this coming year, 2019 was sort of a bust. Vaughn's studio was out of commission due to a major remodeling, and he also focussed on a series of wildlife prints which required much time and research. Our viewership numbers crashed from the lack of activity here, but are starting to creep back up again as we add more new stuff. The new "War of the Fruit Bats" series has many surprises in store, including the introduction of a superhero team, the "X-Them." But the big question is still how Walla marts survived having the ghost of Harry Hay drop a smallish house on top of her. That will be the theme for the next page to be posted here.
